Kinja'd!!!

-Watching a racing series between the Micra, Mirage, and the Spark

-Shopping Autotrader for a car

-Contemplating the benefits of the Prius as a drag racing vehicle

-Watching paint dry, grass grow, ice melt, or Tom burn

-Literally anything besides this assignment

Anyone else on Oppo bored out of their skulls?

Well you could watch Micras race against one another:

a bunch of cheap cars racing on track. Yes, it’s as fun as it sounds like.

I’d love to see Micras, Sparks, and Mirages racing together!

Planning on seeing a race in May, actually. Should be exciting!

I will nod and act like I know what you’re saying, since I stole this photo from the internet.

Nah, I just know Brands Hatch really well, I’m about 50 miles from there and about 25 from Goodwood.

I’m well located when it comes to tracks.

I’m jealous. I’m roughly an hour from Calabogie, two hours from Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal, and that’s pretty much it.

Of course the UK being as small as it is, I can be at Silverstone, Castle Combe and Thruxton in 2-2.5 hours and Snetterton and Donington in 3-4 hours. WW2 had a great influence on the amount racetracks in the UK as many were built on old airfields. Goodwood still is a functioning airfield.

Which one, Tremblant?

Micra Cup is one of the most entertaining series for the spectators... there is so much to see, and the drivers are really pushing those cars. contacts are frequent.

It’s a more civilized version of the Echo Pirelli Cup, which was much more violent:

There’s also a circuit in Mont-Tremblant as well. it used to be for F1 before CGV came to be.
